Ishq is a Malayalam movie released in 2019. This movie is one of the best movies that I have watched recently. The story of the movie revolves around moral policing, it’s effect on victims and it’s repercussions. The male protogonist is played by Shane Nigam and Ann Sheetal acts opposite him. Shane Nigam plays Sachidanandan, called ‘Sachi’ and loves Vasudha played by Ann and intends to marry her. Sachi takes her for a night ride and after some time they parks the car and shares an intimate moment while Shine Tom interfere them in the name of Moral Policing.

It is an actual spectacle to watch. The story primarily takes you through the eyes of an orthodox male chauvinist, who isn’t broadminded. The story shows us how much care is needed for our partner and we should respect them. Women are not men’s property and they are equals; a great message is embedded in this story and it is high time that everyone recognise this. I find this story beautiful because there a sense of Justice delivered for each character.

I urge you guys to watch the movie as soon as possible and it will be worth your while.

IT IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE WATCHED. AND I LOVED IT!!!!

The movie is about the Millionaire Howard Hughes and his life of passion about flying. Leonardo DiCaprio does an exceptional job showcasing every emotion perfectly and connects well with the audience. He plays the role of an 18 year old boy who inherits a fortune from his parents. Howard have a lot of bad habits that he had acquired from his mother. The movie have one of the best character arc depictions in the industry. Knowing that the movie is based on a real human being who did this when no one in his time gives you goosebumps.

Directed by Legendary director “Martin Scorsese” and portrayal of Legendary actor Leonardo DiCaprio makes this a Legend of All Time.

The movie actually motivates you to dream, wish for something spectacular when no one believes in you, and to work hard for it. The movie shows how Howard Hughes struggled with his life and with others to make history for the mankind while the whole world was against him.

I suggest everyone to watch this now itself.

Unda is a Malayalam movie based on the life of police officers and their experiences. It is a simple story depicting realistic scenarios and the will power of police officers.

The story is about a battalion of officers who are sent to safeguard the elections held in Maoist effected areas in Chattisgarh. The first half of the movie progress slowly and steadily depicting each character and their traits. The story lays its strong ground in the first half for the second half to give us an awesome experience. The police officers are under equipped and lack training. Nine police officers are sent to protect a polling booth with 10 rounds of bullets each. For the first time they had to face real life bullets shot at them. They panic and empties almost all of their bullets except 8 of them. Later they realise they were tricked by crackers except for the first shot. They were left alone without any help, neither from State or Central Government. Later they face all the challenges with their will power and might. With minor setbacks and injury they finally completes the duty they are assigned.

Excellent performances from Mammootty, Arjun Ashokan and Shine Tom are remarkable. All the actors have given touching performances. As matter of fact it is really difficult to find any fault with any aspect of the movie. The movie have a strong script, awesome character portrayals and the real life struggle of police officers that they face while undertaking their duty. The movie shows that even police officers are normal human beings with family and they can get afraid at times too. The direction by Khalid Rahman is commendable.

Kodathisamaksham Balan Vakeel is a movie directed by B. Unnikrashnam and team. The main characters are portrayed by Dileep, Suraj Venjaramood, Mamta Mohandas, Ganesh, Rajesh Sharma, Lena and Renji Panicker. We also get to see Bheeman Raghu, Siddique, Aju Varghese in supporting roles.

This is an entertaining movie spun with an investigative story. It is a movie you could watch with your family. The movie revolves around the Character portrayed by Deelep. Balan Vakeel is a junior lawyer who hasn’t reached any level of success in his profession despite his brilliance and intelligence and knowledge. He have a stammer while talking and everyone including him believes that he can’t achieve any success because of his stutter. Balan have a father who is always high on weed and spends his time with foreign tourists. His brother in law is a greedy police officer, Mohanan Pillai, who is portrayed by Suraj Venjaramood. Mohanan always tries to earn money through shortcuts. One of his such attempts lands Balan in deep trouble. Balan unknowingly sends a legal notice to the DGP charging him with sexual harrassment offences. This was send on behalf Anuradha, who is portrayed by Mamta Mohandas. Balan while trying to escape from this trap finds out his old self who was a confident young law student. The story takes you through the hidden plots behind the story and about an old friendship of Balan and how each character is exposed.

There are many sequences which will make you laugh out loud. Siddique had portrayed his character to the best. His character’s dialogue delivery is funny and is always the best counter for every dialogue.

This is a good movie for you guys to watch with your family in Sunday evening.

Badla is a 2019 Hindi movie featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. The movie starts with Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan) on his way to meet Naina Sethi ( Taapsee Pannu) who is an entrepreneur. She is a prime suspect in a case, accused of murder and her lawyer appoints Badal Gupta to prepare her for her case. Badal Gupta is an expert in preparing witnesses in court. The story revolves around how brilliantly Badal Gupta unwinds the lies, stories and missing pieces of the real incident. The movie is a thriller which will always keep you guessing. There is an awesome screenplay and script. All the characters were used just to the measure. If you are looking for a thriller to spend your time this is a good movie to watch.

The direction is also amazing. The way each sequence and each storyline is taken and explained makes us actually believe it; each time.

Welcome to Marwen is a 2018 movie, starring Steve Carell. The movie is about an artist being assaulted outside a pub and is struggling to come back to normal life. This movie is based on a real life incidents. Steve Carell gives a good performance showing us the struggle of PTSD patients. The movie is a mixture of real movie and an animation, where the real part showing his real life is and the animations shows what he dreams of his life or what he wants to do.

The story starts with him recovering/ trying to recover from PTSD. Hoggy was an artist who drew pictures but after the accident he couldn’t draw as he lost his ability. Afterwards he starts making a small town and names it Marwen. The citizens of Marwen are dolls. He places the dolls take pictures of it to narrate stories. The characters of the story he makes is mainly from his friends and known people from neighborhood. You could see Gwendoline Christie who played Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones as his medicare personal. He gets new neighbours in beginning of the movie. He becomes friends with his neighbour later on and welcomes her to see his creation. Then he tells a story to her on which he was working then. This picture is from that scene.

This is one of the scenes that I liked that most in the movie. His new neighbour is Nicol (in yellow skirt) with whom he think he falls in love with. But Nicol only thought of him as a friend. In the end of the movie he overcomes his fear and goes the opening of his show and also renames the the town Marwencol, in memory of Nicol.

The movie has a good story. Nice narration and camera. At times the story is a bit lagging but is not boring. It is a simple story and decent acting by the cast. A feel good movie you should watch in one of your evenings.
